The 1999 Age of Empires 2 is finally heading to Xbox consoles, along with the more recent Age of Empires 4 next year.
Today, during the Age of Empires 25th Anniversary Broadcast, the launching of the Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition on Xbox on January 31, 2023 was announced. The developer will later release Age of Empires 4 later in the same year. Watch the trailer here.
The fun doesn’t end there; fans are also getting the definitive edition of the 2022 Age of Mythology, Age of Mythology: Retold. Relic Entertainment and Microsoft has confirmed the current development of the game but no further details have been provided just yet.
Other announcement include the launching of Age of Empires: Anniversary Edition today and a teaser for Age of Empires mobile.
