Fallout 4 next-gen update for PS5 and Xbox Series X

Fallout 4 is getting an official next-generation update for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2023, Bethesda announced in a blog post for the Fallout 25th Anniversary celebration.

This update will include a performance mode features for higher frame rates, quality mode for 4K resolution gameplay, some much needed bug fixes, and a bonus Creation Club content, the official mod support of Bethesda!

Bethesda has yet to reveal the specific release date or a window for Fallout 4’s next-gen upgrade, as well as a full list of game features.

It is free-of-charge, so existing users don’t have to worry about any additional charges when upgrading.

Fans may also have to wait for a while for new Fallout content as Bethesda won’t release Fallout 5 until they wrap up the development of Elder Scrolls 6.

But the modding community is in the works of filling in the gap with the DLC-sized mod of Fallout 4, Fallout London, due to be released also next year.
